Did you know the word for courage comes from the French and Latin words for heart? Yes, you got it Heart. And just as the heart is the organ that pumps blood to our arms and legs and other organs, courage is the virtue that vitalizes all the other virtues. Fact is, without courage, all the other virtues wither away, as psychologist Rolo May tells us. Mere facsimiles of virtue and all this fancy pansy stuff we're talking about dissolves into meaningless intellectual abstraction. What a profound thought that is. Contemplate on that. Without courage, all the other virtues wither away, rolo May tells us, and even the classicists tell us that. So for today's nugget of wisdom, we just have one thing we have to do let's get our courage on and look. Let's look at some ways we can do that.
