MM#233–What Can A 1930’s Germany Teach Us Today?

In todays episode, we stay in pre-war Europe of the 1930’s with our book The Pope Last Crusade:   How An American Jesuit helped Pope Pius XI’s Campaign to Stop Hitler by Peter Eisner.

We will discuss what three things 1930’s Germany can teach us today.

Key Points from the Episode:

  • Our Nation’s report card with very poor marks for our young ones in civics and history
  • We dive into pre-war history at the French and German border in 1938 and see the propaganda they were subjected too
  • Question our first blush at the facts, always!
  • Seek the truth in everything.
  • Avoid the propaganda no matter how thick it is.
